Roma Fiction Fest for sensory disabled persons

RFF 2009 will offer numerous screenings to sensory disabled persons. First time in Italy!
Thanks to the commitment and the work of Laura Raffaeli and Stefano Pierpaoli, presidents of no profit associations Blindsight Project (www.blindsight.eu ) and Consequenze (www.consequenze.org ), the films presented on the “10 screening room” of Adriano Theatre, be provided with digital subtitles and audiodescription.
The Local Government of Lazio Region granted the civil rights request and is already working to carry this project out. It will be an important innovation which will range Italy to many others Country in which are already existing analogous initiatives.
High-quality services will be adopted, recently developed with specialists and sensory disabled persons Representatives.
Screenings will be a part of the usual programme. Sensory disabled persons will have the opportunity to share screenings with everyone else and to be part of a normal community.
