If you want to be notified about new releases, you have several options:
- Use feature automatic check for application updates.
- Subscribe project RSS feed.
- Subscribe monitoring of file releases on Sourceforge (you must be registered SF user, what is free).
Public Key Tools
You can authenticate using public keys with WinSCP. To generate a key pair, use the PuTTYgen application. You can also use authentication agent Pageant. Both programs are part of an instalation package. You can download them separately too.
